Repricing ROI Calculator

Estimate monthly ROI from repricing: additional profit from contribution uplift (pp) + buybox/conversion uplift — plus time value (hours × hourly rate), with a traffic light (>€500/€100–€500/<€100).

Note: results are not made indexable via URL parameters. Canonical: https://tools.snapsoft.de/en/tools/repricing-roi

Who is this for?

  • E-commerce teams evaluating repricing as a business case (€/month)
  • Ops/finance teams combining time savings with performance uplifts
  • Agencies/consultants who want clean ROI reasoning

Repricing ROI in € per month — incl. contribution and conversion levers

Repricing usually works through two levers: higher contribution margin (e.g. +1pp contribution%) and better BuyBox/conversion (more revenue). This calculator translates both effects into monthly profit uplift in euros.

You can also add time savings (hours/month) and an hourly rate. We compute a time value so you get a holistic ROI (without tool price) — everything runs locally in your browser.

Inputs

Baseline revenue per month (without repricing).

Optional: if you expect revenue to rise via better BuyBox/conversion.

h

Optional: hours/month you save via automation.

Only relevant if you include time savings.

How it works

New revenue: (R_{new} = revenue \cdot (1 + conversion\%)\).

New contribution%: (C\%_{new} = C\%_{current} + uplift_{pp}\) (clamped to 0..100).

Additional profit/month: (\Delta profit = R_{new} \cdot C\%_{new} - revenue \cdot C\%_{current}\).

Time value: (time = hours \cdot rate\). Total ROI: (ROI = \Delta profit + time\).

Traffic light (defaults): green > €500/month, yellow €100–€500/month, red < €100/month.

Quick conclusion

  • Monthly ROI comes from profit uplift (contribution + conversion) plus time value (hours × rate).
  • Conservative assumptions beat wishful thinking — validate against actuals next.
  • If ROI looks good: start with top SKUs and protect outcomes with price rails/floors.

FAQ

What is “contribution %” in this calculator?

Contribution % here is simplified as contribution margin as a share of revenue (in %). If you use net/gross numbers, keep all inputs consistent (don’t mix).

How do I pick realistic uplift values?

Start conservative and validate with data: e.g. 0.5–1pp contribution uplift and 0–5% conversion uplift for a first quick check. Categories vary a lot.

What does “pp” mean for the uplift?

pp are percentage points. Example: 10% → 11% is +1pp (not +1%).

Do you store my inputs?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser without storage.

How do I include tool costs?

This shows monthly benefit (€/month) without tool price. If a tool costs €X/month, you can compute (net = ROI - X\).
